Evening all! It’s Harriet here with the Police guard! I am the country’s soon-to-
be-occupant at No 10 Downing Street. As I sneak and crawl my way... I am
here in a spot very similar to Brick Lane London E1. I am behind the Police
shields, as I prepare to celebrate the Crossrail hole digging Bill, being passed
.. I am here to assure the East End of London that all Crossrail holes, all
digging, all the removals, losses of jobs, losses of shops, streets places, the
noise, the illnesses the disparity be treated as ‘benefits’ to the people who
will be the losers. I am able to show how wonderful it was to hear that your
recent ‘leader’ Denise Jones was playing so many games on poverty in your
wonderfully deprived area. Denise is thrilled whenever she has the chance to
tell people about how fully fledged the poverty-generation in her borough has
been. ‘The most deprived borough in the country’, she has said only last week!
I could almost hear the tangible purr of satisfaction [as the local ‘East London
Advertiser’ enchanted by Denise's’ apparent charms!, would record in their
newly-launched ‘gossip-for-our-friends’ ‘in the local council’ column] that
Denise had in her voice as she made that satisfying utterance! It had a rich mix
of career in the most poor borough ring to it as Denise confirmed her
achievements as a ‘leadership’ councillor!.....

I note that Tower Hamlets Council ‘officers’ too have been in agreement with my Govt. Like me they see
the Crossrail poverty-holes as ‘benefits’ to you poor people....

The poorer you get, the better it is for Denise Jones!

And for the Council officers. I am so
pleased that they are all so well-received [and well-receptioned!] by the
construction company people and the property speculators...

I am so glad that I had this opportunity to communicate to you from where I am... Cheer up now
as you face the holes that my Govt will be digging all over the East One

When KHOODEELAAR! advised Gordon Brown in early 2004 that he should have nothing whatever to do with the then [yet to be a hybrid Bill-ed] Crassrail scam, we had done so on accurate information we had gathered about the UK Finance ministry's attitude towards the scheme. We had found out that Brown was not supportive of Crossrail because it was not economically justified.

We ourselves have said - and demonstrated the evidence supporting what we have said - all along that the uneconomic nature of the CRASSrail scam is one of its major minus points.

So when we learnt that Brown too was thinking the same way as we had been doing, we treated Brown with a different approach. we did not call him a crass chancellor. Far less an imprudent one. For the evidence available to us in 2004 was that Brown was doing what we would have wanted him to do: say No to CRASSrail.

That line from the UK’s Ministry of Finance [the ‘Treasury’] in effect continued upto even this time last year.

A year ago, in July 2007, the second ‘most influential treasury man’ [in effect the UK’s then deputy Finance minister] as they promoted Ed Balls, was giving out hints and noises that Crossrail would have to be supported otherwise than by public funding,...

That showed that Brown was still not backing Crossrail.


For Ed Balls was nothing if not an echo of Gordon Brown at the Treasury then.


On that evidence, we were logically and evidentially totally opposed to Brown’s NEXT act. That of making utterances just like those ignorant, dishonest and corrupt touts for Big Business had sounded for the years between say February 2004 and June 2007.

Brown was coming across as a fanatical believer in a cult of CROSSRAIL!

He was saying things that the corrupt lobby and City of London elements alone had been saying for the previous 18 months or so.

There was no prudence. No evidence for the new imprudence that Brown was uttering....

NETWORK RAIL is involved with ‘Crossrail'. How has it been behaving? Has it been found to have been as callous and unreliable? INDEED.
As the evidence represented in one scandal that has been found in Islington:
NETWORK is CHEATWORK rail. As NETWORK RAIL AND Islington council ‘planning’ staff have been caught [see the full text of the report from an Islington based publication, we reproduced below] CHEATING the community in Islington, we ask again: how much more evidence of corruption should be found before the failing, wasteful outfits are either disposed of or their ‘contracts’ seriously reviewed and then rescinded and done away with? How much more evidence of Council ‘planners’ behaving against transparency and community rights and good finance before they are given the overdue SACK that they deserve? How much more losses must be allowed to be caused to the local environment, the local economy before CHEATWORK RAIL are given the marching orders and stopped from looting the public while the needs of the community are neglected?

Footbridge study was ‘duplicitous’

A CONTROVERSIAL £60,000 feasibility study into a footbridge that could unite communities on either side of King’s Cross station was already “weighted against the scheme” before it was launched, according to claims this week.
Network Rail ruled out the £5million footbridge last month – promised originally in plans for the railway land redevelopment – on the grounds of costs and security complications.
But campaigners argued this week that the original brief for the study was “unneces sarily complicated”.
Islington Labour councillor Paul Convery, chairman of the west area planning committee, accused Network Rail and Camden planners, who provided the brief for the feasibility study, of being “duplicitous”.
He added: “The planners didn’t look at a simple bridge which would have stretched across the station from one side to another and which is what the residents wanted.
“Instead they looked at a complicated version with access to several platforms. Obviously that would have created a security nightmare and be costly. So the whole scheme was dropped.”

* The scheme will be discussed at a meeting by the King’s Cross Rail Group on Thursday at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Copenhagen Street, Barnsbury, at 7pm.

Gordon Brown is defying all reasonable, lawful and constitutional advice, evidence e and warnings to him about his ill-advised ‘commitment to the Crossrail hole plot.
Why is he doing so?
There is no answer in what he has said so far on Crossrail.
As we have been publishing daily, there CAN BE NO EVIDENCE in support of Brown’s commitment to the London Crossrail.
It is a poverty-creating project.
It is at variance with his stated opposition to poverty.
Why then is Brown sticking by Crossrail?
We have to look at other possible causes.
Including his state of mind. We shall go to a psychological site in the next parts.
For this part,w e refer to Zimbabwe and the Sino-Russian veto on sanctions move that the USA and Brown had tabled.
Will Gordon Brown be ‘vindicated’ over the Russian veto ‘freeze’ [as Brown claimed in the House of Commons speech in effect] over the USA-UK move at the Security Council to vote for sanctions against Robert Mugabe-fronted regime? This is a question that has arisen because the Russians used their veto and opposed the USA-UK move to have the sanctions imposed against Zimbabwe.
What the final ‘evidence’ published may show about Gordon Brown’s ‘deal ‘ with Moscow’s Dmitry Medvedev before the security council vote, is not known. Yet. But nobody is waiting for the final evidence to be published before making comments on Gordon Brown’s judgement!.
Despite his ‘diplomatic’ words, alleging unanimity across ‘British politics’ [Hague’s phrase!!!] on the issue of Zimbabwe, the Tory spokesperson on world affairs William Hague has already [during today Saturday 12 July 2008] fuelled speculation into the truth of what actually happened at the G8 summit where Brown allegedly bagged the Russians' support against Mugabe.
Whatever the actual facts, the comments mill is at full spin. So much so that the KHOODEELAAR! campaign has been aware of it. Thus asking: how is it that Gordon Brown can be subjected to such intense analysis on everything else but not on CROSSRAIL?

What KHOODEELAAR! says today on the facts, on the evidence and on the empirical studies and the factual updates of the situation concerning the ongoing imposition of poverty-creating activities via the local Tower Hamlets Council and via the other ‘power’-linked ‘holders’ of elected posts and the recipients of profitable [personally to them and at the expense of the community across the East End of London ] unelected but sub-legitimate and QUANGO-ed linked posts and connections, will be vindicated tomorrow.


The Khoodeelaar! movement is part of the same empirical foundation whence Tony McNulty, the 'minister' currently being used to front the assault on civil liberties and fundamental rights in Britain under the pretext of protecting the UK from 'greater threats to society' [=’Counter-Terrorism Bill 2008’] , had been questioned YEARS earlier about the Blairing SQUANDERING of the peoples’ mandate. The mandate as it had been expressed in May 1997....


. Khoodeelaar! has pointed out in the course of the 55 months of the campaign against Crossrail hole plot and agenda so far, the various personal and equally unpublicised other links that McNulty has with the controlling clique on and in Tower Hamlets Council.... It is via those links that McNulty would have been acquainted with the realties on the grounds of poverty and the role in creating poverty that the Council and its allied bureaucracies played...McNulty was also present at an otherwise innocent location [the Altab Ali Park] almost 3 years ago when he posed for publicity photographs near the site of one of the underground explosions that cost the innocent peoples’ lives... So McNulty has been in ‘touch’ with elements in Tower Hamlets IN THE NAME of Government as well....

Some of those who appeared with him in the series of promotional photos and related ‘facilities’ events, would be included among McNulty’s links... It was not just his own reported wife, Christine Gilbert who was still employed in the Tower Hamlets Council [as ‘chief executive’ - she was given that job despite not being the best candidate, because some key controlling clique members who appointed her, found her to be willing to overlook the conduct of the key controlling cliqusters] that McNulty would have ‘consulted’ about the 'situation'... Khoodeelaar! has evidence showing that McNulty knows quite a few individuals that are close to or are at the centre of the clique in control of Tower Hamlets CROSSRAIL hole plot-INVITING Council.... And he would therefore know that the area is not going to welcome another deprivation programme which is what the Crossrail, hole plot is... So what role has McNulty played in the actual drafting of what is now known as the hole-imposing ‘Crossrail Bill’? He was in the Crossrail hole plot-peddling DfT [=UK ‘Department for Transport’, then fronted by the current UK Finance Minister Alistair Darling] in 2004-2005... We shall examine further McNulty’s crucial role in the planned further creation of poverty in the East End of London via the implementation - and the imposition - of the Crossrail hole plot and programme. We shall look at McNulty’s linked role in the erosion of fundamental civil liberties that McNulty is now being used to front in the fanatical way that he has been. We shall show in context the serious and far reaching adverse and disproportionate effect on the community in the East End of London that BOTH pieces of McNulty-linked and over-hyped Blairing legislation will have:......
