Boris Johnson was again derided by Rory Bremner, in the broadcast edition of Bremner’s commercial promotion packaged on Channel 4 last night.

Boris Johnson was said to be an idiot and an d someone who speaks incoherently.

In contrast to that, I logged on to Boris Johnson’s web site, for the first time ever, and found an assertion that said that Boris was one of the original thinkers on the contemporary political landscape...

Giving Boris the benefit of the doubt, I have got to put it to Boris Johnson like this: Have you done any original thinking on Crossrail? If you have, you cannot then go on ‘backing’ it. It is crass. it is flawed. it is wasteful. It is obsolete and must be scrapped.
