KHOODEELAAR! Public meeting organised to ask ‘local ward councillors’ on Tower Hamlets Council what they [these ‘ward councillors’] have done to represent the community’s opposition to the Crossrail hole attacks on the East End of London....

The initial invitation was sent to the Chief Executive of the Tower Hamlets Council, Martin Smith, TWO weeks ago...

To Councillors for the following wards in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, London UK:
St. Dunstan's and Stepney Green ward, Spitalfields and Bangla Town ward and Bethnal Green South
[includes Whitechapel Road, Durward Street, Castlemaine Street, Wodeham Gardens, Lomas Street, Trahorn Close near Vallance Road, Brady Street, Cambridge Heath Road ] ward and Weavers ward.
We are inviting you as local Ward councillors for our streets to a
meeting at 6.30 on Monday 27 October 2008 at 7-15 Greatorex Street London E1 5NF to discuss with us all the aspects of the “Crossrail” scheme. We have urgent and a very comprehensive series of Questions to put to you face to face.
