The Planning Bill is just as bad as the Crossrail Bill - it is a violation of constitutionality, of legitimacy, and of democracy

Hazel Blears, who is fronting with the Planning Bill right now at 1420 Hrs GMT at the UK House of Commons, is most untrustworthy...

She has no idea about genuine public involvement . And even if she does technically understand this, she has no respect for it. She has contempt for public involvement. And she has no respect for objectively defined democratic accountability.... Hazel Blears will by all objective criteria be the last person that any one should trust about the Planning Bill....


It was Hazel Blears who had said in the run up to the 2005 general elections that Muslims in the Uk SHOULD expect to be stopped and suspected.....

There was no legal basis for her saying that.

there was no moral basis fro her sating that.

There was no constitutional basis fro her saying that.

there was no evidence in support of her saying that then.

there has been none since.

There cannot be any positive value attached to the assurance of a person like Hazel blears on anything that affects human rights, democracy or peoples’ right to have the definitive say on what is done in our name....

SCRAP the Hazel Blears speech.
